Lithology Digitizing

The following graph shows mineral variation with depth together with interpretation tops.  It is noticed that at some depth the formation tops are showing minerals which are not corresponding with the cutting information revealed in the graph.

ZZ & ASSOCIATES was able to use its own software to provide the right formation tops.

This method of lithology digitizing can be used to generate true three dimensional model map or to correct an existing seismic map (a project was carried out to Amoco (now known as British Petroleum)
